In Court

It was therefore taken to court where the Traffic Warden Jane Worley, supported by the police barrister stated she could not see the date on the permit.

  permit
Do you think you could see it?

It was not only a lie, but the brain-dead magistrates, Mrs Newman, Mrs King and Mr. Thompson who are told their duty is to convict, sided with the Hampshire Police and levied a fine. This cost me £240.00!

Outside the court, it came to light that several other people had suffered the same experience. We therefore decided to write to the Court Services to know how we could jointly express our concerns and make an appeal.

Now this is something you should be aware about. If you make an accusation against the Magistrates Court it automatically goes to the County Court. I know now, but I didn't at the time, and what is more no one chose to inform me. No Guidance Notes where handed out at any time - In other words, keep the Claimant confused.

Now look at the pictures opposite and see the horrendous mistakes made by the Court Services at Southampton. As you will see there was no intelligence used whatsoever, completely moronic. At no time was procedural guidance  or instruction with whom to communicate sent out.

The result was a hearing that took place at The Crown Court without my knowledge of it taking place which resulted in another fine, this time £255.00.  I made an appeal against this and with the assistance of my MP Mr Ian Taylor wrote to the DCA (Department of Constitutional Affairs) This resulted in another hearing being set up but look at the notification. It was sent out on the 27th February for a hearing 2nd March!

These mistakes seem to be done on purpose to frustrate and jeopardise. However, at a hearing the fine of £255 was halved in the knowledge that a complaint was made to the DCA and the events that had occurred.

In a letter from Sir Ronald De Witt, the Chief Executive of the DCA , admitted, 'the correspondence was not up to the standard expected.....and Managers would be instructed to reinforce with their staff the importance of written communication'. However, his department had no jurisdiction with a Magistrates Court.

DCA

Even whilst the DCA were involved which the Judges Chief Executive at the time, Mr Mike West of Southampton Courts was aware about and gave assurances that all information had been provided, Magistrates Mr Howells, Mrs Sissons and Mrs Phippard overruled this on the grounds that the DCA has no jurisdiction with a Magistrates Court and levied another £125 fine
